    Antoinette Tuff

    Founder & CEO, Kids on the Move for Success

    On August 20, 2013, Antoinette Tuff prevented a school shooting at an Atlanta elementary school, becoming widely recognized as a modern-day American hero by media. Today, Tuff shares her story, and the wisdom she has gained, with others and has written the much-anticipated book, Prepared for a Purpose: The Inspiring True Story of How One Woman Saved an Atlanta School Under Siege. She has also appeared with CNN's Anderson Cooper numerous times, was featured on CNN's annual Heroes special and has visited with President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. She founded the nonprofit Kids on the Move for Success, which provides underprivileged students scholarships and educational opportunities.
