    Documentary Photographer

    Carlos Javier Ortiz is a long-term documentary photographer. As a photographer his intent is to promote change and understanding in communities neglected by society. Carlos Javier won the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Photography award for his long-term project entitled Too Young To Die. His work is currently in collection at the Museum of Contemporary photography in Chicago. His work has been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world. His work has been published in Time, Newsweek, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Ebony Magazine and in numerous international print, broadcast and online venues.
