Sisters in Conversation Throughout Their Lives and You Just Don't Understand: Women & Men in Conversation, which spent an astounding four years on The New York Times best-seller list including eight months at number 1. A professor of linguistics at Georgetown University and previously a McGraw Distinguished Lecturer at Princeton, she also appears regularly on radio and television.
