    Since February 2011, Geoff Brigham has been the general counsel for the Wikimedia Foundation, the nonprofit organization that hosts Wikipedia and its sister sites. Wikipedia is the world’s largest and most-popular encyclopedia, containing more than 30 million collaboratively created articles in over 285 languages. Brigham was recognized as the Most Innovative General Counsel in North America by the Financial Times in 2014, and his team was named a 2015 Best Legal Department by the Corporate Counsel magazine. Brigham was previously a deputy general counsel and vice president at eBay, overseeing its legal issues in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia.
