John Glaspy

John Glaspy, M.D., M.P.H., is a professor of medicine at the Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center (JCCC) of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Medicine. He holds the Estelle, Abe and Marjorie Sanders Endowed Chair in Cancer Research. He is the director of the JCCC Clinical Research Unit and director of the JCCC Women’s Cancer Research Program. Currently, Dr. Glaspy is involved in basic research in tumor immunology and the effects of fatty acids on carcinogenesis. His clinical interests also include chemotherapy-induced anemia, the role of hematopoietic growth factors in cancer management and new approaches to the treatment of breast cancer and malignant melanoma.
