    Norman Kerr

    Vice President, Violence Prevention Initiatives

    Norman Livingston Kerr leads UCAN's violence prevention initiatives, designed to address the violence crisis plaguing Chicago's communities. His goal is to transform young lives through programs promoting individual healing, self-empowerment and community transformation.

    Prior to UCAN, Norman worked for fourteen years at CeaseFire (now Cure Violence), serving as the Director of CeaseFire and CeaseFire International Liaison focusing on preventing violence in the Caribbean and other regions of the world. Mr. Kerr received his Bachelor's degree from Illinois State University and his Master's from the University of Chicago.
