Robert J. Sampson is Henry Ford II Professor of the Social Sciences at Harvard University and Director of the Social Sciences at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study. He is President of the American Society of Criminology, fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and an elected member of the National Academy of Sciences.
