    Sam Sternberg

    Assistant Professor, Biochemistry & Molecular Biophysics, Columbia University

    Samuel H. Sternberg is a scientist, an expert in CRISPR–Cas systems and their application to genome engineering, and an international speaker, having presented his research to audiences in Belgium, China, England, France, Germany, Israel, the Netherlands and throughout the United States. He’s also the co-author, with Jennifer Doudna, of A Crack in Creation: Gene Editing and the Unthinkable Power to Control Evolution. Beginning in 2018, he will be an assistant professor in the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biophysics at Columbia University, where he’ll be starting his own laboratory.
