    Sam Polk

    Author; Founder, Groceryships
    11236

By age 30, Sam Polk was a senior trader for one of the largest hedge funds in the world, earning multiple millions of dollars per year. But instead of continuing down the road to unlimited wealth, Polk chose to walk a different path. He left Wall Street, and founded a nonprofit Groceryships that helps low-income families struggling with obesity. In 2014, Polk electrified the world in a "New York Times" op-ed that appeared on the cover of The Sunday Review, and since then has appeared on hundreds of media outlets including "The Today Show", "Morning Joe", NPR and CNN. Scribner will publish his book in 2015.
