
Sheryl WuDunnn, the first Asian-American reporter to win a Pulitzer Prize, is a business executive, lecturer and best-selling author. With her husband Nicholas Kristof, she has authored four books: the recently published "A Path Appears: Transforming Lives, Creating Opportunity"; "China Wakes: The Struggle for the Soul of a Rising Power in 1994"; "Thunder from the East: Portrait of a Rising Asia in 2000"; and "Half the Sky: Turning Oppression Into Opportunity for Women Worldwide in 2009". They were awarded the Pulitzer in 1990 for their coverage of China and received the Dayton Literary Peace Prize in 2009. WuDunn worked at The New York Times as a business editor and foreign correspondent in Tokyo and Beijing, and now works in banking.
