She also explains the power of a specific, authentic script that doesn’t try to appeal to everyone and her commitment to amplifying voices like hers, saying, “There's a million Lenas. It’s my job not just to say that, but to make sure I’m mentoring and that I’m finding them, and that they’re prepared for the opportunity….so that the industry is a true reflection of society.”
